Acupressure Facial Therapy

This not only uses pressure points and facial reflexes to release tension and benefits the whole body, but also techniques that work with the muscular system, skin and fascial structures of the face. It is a gentle, non invasive treatment, that works on the same principles as foot reflexology, in that different areas on the face correspond to different areas within the body and incorporates working with the Chinese Acupressure facial map to benefit the whole body.

It is particularly effective due to the close proximity to the face, the brain and thus the central nervous system and the aim is to promote healing, relaxation and help encourage a natural healing response. Unlike many other facials, each treatment is tailored to your individual needs and you have the added option of combining facial with foot reflexology for the ultimate holistic treatment.

What to expect:

Your treatment starts with a relaxing routine applying pressure to key acupressure points on the chest, neck, shoulders and head, followed by a facial cleanse using an unscented base organic cleanser. Jojoba oil is then used to apply gentle pressure and massage techniques to connect the acupressure points on the face and ears. Each treatment ends with a grounding routine using key reflex points on the lower legs and feet.

NB: If you have a favourite cleanser and face oil that you normally use, please feel free to bring them along for me to use instead. In addition, please contact me if you have recently had botox or facial fillers to discuss your needs before booking.
